Don Shula coached in the NFL for 33 years. He finished with a career record of 347 wins, 173 losses, and 6 ties. Shula led his teams to more wins than any other coach in the history of the NFL. Don Shula was inducted into the NFL Hall of Fame in July 1997. In addition to his football responsibilities, Shula has always given considerable time, financial and emotional support, to countless charities. Don Shula is the recipient of many awards including the Sports Illustrated Man of the Year award and the Horatio Alger Award. Shula is co-author with Ken Blanchard of "Everyone's a Coach", a highly-acclaimed book that outlines the application of the authors' managerial philosophies for business and personal success.
