Jerry Foltz’ ability to analyze the game combined with his talent for articulating his thoughts in an entertaining way propelled him into the world of golf commentary. Foltz serves as on-course reporter for The Golf Channel’s coverage of the Nationwide and PGA Tours. He also provides reports for such programs as Golf Central and Academy Live, in addition to hosting Inside the Nationwide Tour on The Golf Channel. Jerry’s friendly relationship with tour players gives his commentary a personal touch that viewers appreciate.

Jerry’s playing career was characterized by perseverance. In 1990, three days after turning professional, Foltz sustained a serious back injury in an auto accident involving a drunk driver. Jerry was determined to overcome the injury and went on to find success on the Nationwide Tour; including victories at the 1994 Newport Classic and 1995 South Carolina Classic.

Now Jerry spends his time traveling from tournament to tournament as a golf analyst. In his remaining time, Jerry participates in corporate outings and charity events throughout the country. Jerry currently resides in Orlando, Florida with his wife, Jane and son, Jackson.
